Our new Spring Menu is here

It’s finally beginning to warm up; with the days showing signs of summer and the flowers beginning to bloom. To mark the turn of the season, we have launched our new Spring Menu which our Head chef, Adam, and his dedicated team have created using the finest seasonal ingredients from our fantastic local suppliers.

From our herb-crusted rack of lamb served with dauphinoise potato, wilted spinach, smoked bacon and red wine jus, to our super grains salad of mixed grains, rice, pulses, fresh herbs, Secretts’ mixed leaves, mange tout, kohlrabi, avocado, toasted pine nuts, cider vinegar and lemon dressing, we are confident you will find a dish to appease your appetite, so take a look at our new Spring Menu and see what takes your fancy.

A popular choice from the Spring Menu so far, is the delicious slow roasted beef and mushroom pie, which we’re donating 50p of every pie sale to charity. The chosen charities we are fundraising for this year are Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air ambulance and Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity. To help us reach our £10,000 target we are taking on the grueling 3 Peaks challenge to raise much needed funds for the two fantastic charities and need your help. We asked the expert tasters, our lovely team, what their favourite dish is from the new menu and this is what they had to say…

Kerry – “My favourite is the pan-fried fillet of sea-reared trout; I love the chilli and mint dressing as it goes so well with the trout!”

Benjamin – “The root vegetable, chickpea and three bean cassoulet is one of my favourites, I also love the prime British beef burger, how many favourites are we allowed?”

Emily – “You can’t go wrong with the 8oz sirloin steak, although, I can’t decide whether I prefer the peppercorn sauce or the béarnaise sauce as both are delicious…”
