Spring Strolls

Get outside and smell the… bluebells!

This weeks beautiful sunshine reminded us to get outside and enjoy the amazing scenery we’re lucky enough to have right here on our doorsteps! Here’s a couple of great ideas to get you up and out this weekend (even if it won’t be in 25* sunshine!)

Winkworth Arboretum

The magnolias and bluebells have popped out this spring and Winkworth Arboretum is one of the best places to experience their beauty. With over 1,000 different species of shrubs and trees, this isn’t just any old walk in the park!

Loseley Park

Head over to Loseley Park this weekend for its annual Spring Garden Show! Plant and garden stalls, driftwood sculptures and a chance to preview their spectacular spring bedding displays before they open for the season.

If you’re looking for something a bit more strenuous, Surrey Hills has some fantastic walking routes on offer at www.surreyhills.org/discover/walking

*N.B we are closed on Saturday 18th April for a private event*

The Sculpture Park

600 Modern and Contemporary Sculptures displayed throughout ten acres of arboretum and water gardens, it’s a beautiful way to spend an afternoon walking off some of our sister pubs fab food; they’re just 2 minutes down the road from the sculpture park!
